SERVICE AND SALES WARRANTY

At Valley Appliances Utah, we’re committed to providing reliable service and dependable appliances. To give our customers peace of mind, we offer this 90-Day Limited Warranty:

Service Warranty (Repairs) 

  • All repairs completed by Valley Appliances Utah are covered by a 90-day parts and labor warranty.
  • If the same problem occurs within 90 days of the original repair, we will return at no additional service charge to correct the issue.
  • Warranty applies only to the parts and labor provided during the original service.

Sales Warranty (Used Appliance Sales) 

  • All used refrigerators and freezers purchased from Valley Appliances Utah include a 90-day limited warranty.
  • If your appliance experiences a covered defect within 90 days, Valley Appliances Utah will, at its discretion:
    1. Repair the unit at no cost, or
    2. Replace it with a comparable unit of equal value (subject to availability).
  • Refunds are not offered.

Warranty Service Area 

  • Warranty service is available only within Utah County and Salt Lake County.
  • If an appliance is purchased and then moved outside of Utah County or Salt Lake County, the unit must be returned to Valley Appliances Utah for any warranty repair or replacement.
  • On-site warranty service is not available outside of our service area.

Exclusions (Not Covered) 

This warranty does not cover:

  • Cosmetic issues (scratches, dents, etc.) present at the time of sale.
  • Damage caused by misuse, abuse, improper installation, power surges, or lack of proper maintenance.
  • Refrigerators/freezers stored or used in environments outside manufacturer-recommended conditions (such as garages below 55°F).
  • Customer-supplied parts.
  • Normal wear and tear.

How to Make a Warranty Claim 

  • Call us at (385) 497-9733 with your name, address, and proof of purchase/service.
  • If outside Utah County or Salt Lake County, customers are responsible for returning the appliance to Valley Appliances Utah for warranty evaluation and repair.
  • Warranty service must be scheduled within the 90-day coverage period.

At Valley Appliances Utah, we want every customer to feel confident in their purchase or repair. Our 90-Day Warranty ensures you get the service and support you deserve.

Return and Refund Policy

We're convinced you will not require a refund because we'll give you the best service. However, if you want to request a refund for a service we've done,  please see the information below to find out what qualifies for a refund.


1. Refund must be requested within 48 hours of the service being done.

2. A service call fee is non-refundable. 

3. We do not offer refunds on completed or ongoing repairs.


SERVICE CALL FEE:

A customer who requests a service call will be billed from the time the technician leaves the office to travel to the job and the time required to analyze the problem (not including the repair). A service call fee will also be charged in cases where the customer does not wish to proceed with the job, for whatever reason (e.g., it costs more to repair the unit than it’s worth). It will be waived if the customer decides to accept our quote, pay the deposit and have us perform the job. A service call fee is non-refundable. 


COMPLETED REPAIR:

Once the service or installation is complete, the customer will be asked to review and test the appliance or view the work we completed. The customer will be required to sign our Deliverable Acceptance Form when the repair on the appliance is completed. This shows that the customer has examined and approved the work done. Payment of services in full will also indicate that the customer has reviewed and tested the appliance, viewed our work, and that the service is completed to their satisfaction. We offer no refunds on completed or ongoing repairs.


PARTS RETURN

In some cases parts must be ordered to complete the repair. If the customer, after having signed a contract with us for the repair, decides not to proceed with the repair, they accept full responsibility for all restocking fees that may occur in the return of said parts.


Please note that all transactions/ transfers/ sales/ parts and services are final unless otherwise authorized in official writing.

Otherwise no returns are authorized.
